Strong Scientific Research Force

      The Company established one technical center in 1993, and the center was certified to be one “provincial-level enterprise technical center” by the Economic Committee of Shanxi Province in January 1999. Presently, the Company has owned one high-level scientific research group that is young and competent, has senior professional titles and high educational background and where production, teaching and research are integrated and the innovation fresh activities with greatest vitality. Out of them, there are 260 scientific research workers, and fund for R & D is RMB12.3 million. The technical center owns advanced scientific research test equipments in China and strong R & D team, has fairly stronger technical development capacity, owns such advanced apparatuses and facilities as gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer, high-efficiency liquid-phase chromatographic analyzer, inverted fluorescence microscope and so on, these equipments ranks the leading position in Shanxi Province. In recent years, the scientific research and development center of the Company has continuously coordinated with relevant scientific researchers and has developed such more than 40 new varieties as health-preservation vinegar, vinegar beverage, health-preservation capsule series and so on, and this provides a sound base for strengthening the development potential, broadening domestic and overseas market and improving the market competitiveness of the Company.

To further strengthen scientific research efforts and enhance technological innovation capacity of the Company, organized by overseas returnees and academician-level experts, we recruited more than 30 professionals with doctor’s degree or master’s degree, and established Shanxi Old Mature Vinegar Biotechnology Research Institute in Beijing. Taking the Institute as the platform, we cooperated with such universities and scientific research institutes as Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Institute of Chinese Material Medica of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Shanghai Institute of Material Medica of CAS, Medical School of New York University and conducted exchange and cooperation of advanced technology to improve R & D level of high-tech fields of Shuita Company, jointly develop new products of Shanxi old mature vinegar and forge the “silicon valley of vinegar industry in China”. The modern research center that takes fermentation, quality analysis, genetic and protein engineering, pharmacody and toxicology as the main research fields is formed gradually. Presently, the center is equipped with such modern fermentation research equipments as automatic fermenter imported from Germany, domestic fermenter, super-clean bench special for fermentation, fluorescence microscope and so on, such high-end analysis equipments as Agilent 1260 LC, Agilent 7890A GC-MS and LC-MS, and such advanced research apparatuses special for molecular biology as BIO-RAD fluorescence quantitative PCR apparatus, gel imaging system, AKTA protein purifier apparatus and so on, continuously exploit and strive, addresses itself to fostering the independent innovation capacity.

 

    For new product development in next several years, we will take deep-processing of the old mature vinegar, vinegar capsule, health-preservation vinegar, fruit vinegar beverage, vinegar application and product export as the main orientation, extend the industry chain of Shanxi old mature vinegar, and will mainly conduct R & D for the following several aspects: 1. Anatomize, research on and develop nutrient and health-preservation function mechanism of the old mature vinegar;

2. R & D of health-preservation vinegar soft capsule that can reduce blood fat, blood sugar and blood pressure;

3. R & D of health-preservation vinegar oral liquid that has the function of preventing Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases;

4. R & D of vinegar health-preservation products that have functions of preventing cancer and treating cancer.

We will make the vinegar products of Shanxi Province that are flavorings on the dinning table to go to the beverage cup, beauty parlor and health-preservation product industry, tries to make Shanxi old mature vinegar to transform from flavoring industry to health industry for benefiting the human and the society.
